Time has sure flown. I've been here two months and am getting settled after a hectic start. I'm in the 40' RV now (first of August). To top off my fractured collarbone, the frustrations of moving and adjusting, I fried my computer. I spilled water on it and had to have the motherboard, keyboard and video card replaced. Ugh.
But, I'm in 2 book clubs, the Airiport Club (excellent gym), seeing old friends and enjoying my kids and grandkids. I still miss Oregon and my friends there and hope to visit often.
Daisy, too, loves the ranch. She loves to wander around looking for voles and any other critters to chase (and sometimes catch) and she and the other 2 (bigger) dogs play a lot together. She can run with them at their pace, though a much shorter time and loves to jump on the lab's back while the lab and shepard are wrestling around.

Happy 90th Dad--July 21, 2008

Christina, Aman, Hardeep, Amanda and Daisy drove up to Portland in my car--12 hours straight. Chris and I listened to our book club selection and the kids each were plugged into their own thing in the back seat, taking turns holding Daisy (who travels extremely well). It was a great visit. The rest of the pictures are on my "Keeping in Touch" blog.

Gardening day

I didn't takes many pictures of working, just relaxing!
My vegetable garden is doing very well and I finally transplanted the basil. Considering how late I started I'm happy to see baby eggplants, cucumbers and zucchini and lots of tomato blossoms. The second trough is almost ready for fall veggies.
